Professor, Dr. Novruz ALLAHVERDI was born in Azerbaijan, in 1948. 
He was graduated from the Department Computers and Systems  Azerbaijan Technical University,  Baku, in 1972.
He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the  Moscow Power Engineering  Institute,  Russia, in 1979. 
He received his Associate Professor title from Azerbaijan Technical University in 1984 and   his Professor title in 2000.

He has co-authored 10 books and authored (co-authored) about 100 papers in the area parallel systems for the digital signal processing, specially for the algorithms type FFT; hypercube systems; artificial intelligence, specially expert systems.

Currently he works for Selçuk University,  Konya where he is head of  Electronics and Computer Education Department,  Faculty of Technical Education
